Tyler Mitchell, the 23-year-old photographer responsible for Beyoncé's history-making 'Vogue' cover, announced via Twitter that the portrait has been acquired by the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery's permanent collection and will be featured at the Washington D.C. museum.
